About Me //

I'm Liam Winters a 16 year old Sports and Event photographer based in Colchester Essex. I've been taking photos for three years now and this love all stemmed from taking photos at my local parkrun. I work all year round taking photos and making content for Colchester Bootcamp and continue to support Running Colchester through taking photos of their runners at various sport events encouraging more people to take up the sport. But also work for many individual clients, taking photos at other sport events, awards evenings, parties, promo images, festivals and much more. In December 2019 I won an award for my contributions to sport - The "Active Essex Young Sports Volunteer Of The Year."

Where it Started //

In July 2017 I attended my first parkrun as the volunteer photographer, with my Dad's camera. Each week after that I continued to volunteer and take photos. In August 2017 I got my first proper camera for My Birthday. Each weekend I'd try to go to parkrun and I began taking photos of various running events that my Dad was taking part in. Through Attending parkrun numerous times I had become quite well known and the support I was getting got me to where I am today. This Led to Running Colchester asking me to take photos at the Colchester Half Marathon in 2018.
